Dear Entrant,

Robin and I as the Directors of Lifestyle dreams wanted to thank you for your entry to our competition, and also to let you know what has happened in the last months with the company and the market.

Unfortunately MasterCard and Visa have withdrawn their support for competitions of this nature, and we have now exhausted every affordable avenue of marketing, as for players and investors alike, the business was dependent upon selling tickets in order to achieve the goal of creating a winner, and a viable business model that we hoped to repeat.

From launch we have had three versions of the web site designed, two versions of the game play software and with the help and commitment of WAA! executed a good PR campaign.  This gained good coverage and was done professionally with  banner advertising, posters and flyers in targeted locations, pay per click, search engine optimisation  We even added  a viral inviter software package designed to help a web site expand it’s traffic by utilising recipients address books, and coupled it  with a promotional fun video.

Over £50,000 was committed in marketing funds  by ourselves and  WAA! who were one of our partners as well in the venture.  The legal structure and platform was as flawless and professional as one could have hoped for, and great effort was put into creating a secure environment for our customers to play in our competition.

Sadly however the success of the one competition in Devon seems to have been overshadowed by the failure of the majority of the rest of the competitions to achieve the sales results, perhaps tainting the market.  Perhaps the economic climate is against us, and the need for mass TV coverage is unaffordable without the exposure granted to those that were first in the frame.

It is for this that reason we will be refunding  our players in full as we have decided to close the competition and company, and would like to do this via a personal Paypal account so that we can be 100% sure you receive the money, though we can use cheques if necessary.

So we thank all our investors, players and those that supported us in this venture, and want you to know that we committed ourselves fully in our time and effort and personal funds to try and make this venture successful, but, on this occasion, we have had to acknowledge that the venture did not succeed as had hoped.
